About the Canadair CL-415

The Canadair CL-415 is the improved evolution of the legendary CL-215, an amphibious aircraft specifically designed for fighting forest fires. With a capacity to carry up to 6,137 liters of water, the CL-415 incorporates more powerful turboprop engines, advanced navigation systems, and greater cargo capacity than its predecessor. Capable of scooping water in just 12 seconds while flying over lakes, reservoirs, or the sea, the CL-415 is an essential tool in the fight against forest fires in Spain and the Mediterranean. Its characteristic red and white silhouette is synonymous with the protection of our forests.

The 43rd Air Force Group

The 43rd Air Force Group of the Spanish Air and Space Force is the unit specialized in fighting forest fires. Based in Torrejón de Ardoz, the 43rd Group operates Canadair CL-215 and CL-415 amphibious aircraft during the high-risk fire season. These brave pilots and crews carry out high-risk missions flying at low altitude over mountainous terrain and in conditions of intense smoke to protect Spanish forests. Their work is fundamental for the preservation of Spain's natural heritage, performing hundreds of water drops every summer to combat forest fires.

Patriotic Design and Aviation

This polo shirt combines two symbolic elements: the Canadair CL-415, an icon of fire-fighting aviation, and the Spanish flag, a national symbol. The high-quality double embroidery represents pride in Spanish aviation and recognition of the work of the 43rd Group Firefighters. A garment that unites tradition, technology, and patriotism in an elegant and versatile design.

Premium Piqué Fabric

Piqué cotton fabric offers a distinctive texture with small raised patterns that provide superior breathability and an elegant look. This polo shirt is perfect for casual wear or formal events, combining comfort with a professional look that represents pride in Spanish forest fire-fighting aviation and love for Spain.

Ideal For

Perfect for 43rd Group pilots and crews, Air Force personnel specialized in fire-fighting, enthusiasts of fire-fighting aviation, fans of Canadair amphibious aircraft, people proud of Spain, casual daily wear, aviation events, open days at air bases, national celebrations, formal meetings, gifts for people passionate about forest aviation and patriotism, and anyone who admires the work of Spanish aerial firefighters.
