HISTORY AND CONTEXT

The Patrulla Águila was created in 1985 at the General Air Academy (AGA) in San Javier, Murcia. Since then, it has performed more than 4,000 displays in Spain and more than 50 countries, becoming one of the most prestigious aerobatic teams in the world.

Flying the CASA C-101 Aviojet with its distinctive red and yellow livery, the Patrulla Águila performs formations of up to 7 aircraft. Each pilot is assigned a number that identifies their position in the formation and their specific role during aerobatic maneuvers. The numbers are a symbol of pride and belonging to the team.
