History of the F-86 Sabre in the 12th Wing

The North American F-86 Sabre was the first supersonic jet fighter operated by the Spanish Air Force. The 12th Wing, based in Torrejón de Ardoz, received its first F-86F Sabres in 1955 as part of the American military aid program.
