History of the P-40 Warhawk

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was one of the most important USAF fighter aircraft during World War II. Over 13,700 units were produced between 1939 and 1944. Although not the fastest or most maneuverable fighter, the P-40 was robust, reliable, and lethal in the hands of experienced pilots.
